Fred, very true and very sad.
Alex ,I'm sure you do fine in your wc class. You have a good eye and after the teacher explains the basic technics you will get the hang of it quick.
Jen, please draw the kitten sounds fun. My son wanted one, since the neighbors just had kittens, but unfortunaly he and my husband are allergic to cats.Yesterday they gave the last one away,
C&C always welcome
best wishes with your water colour class...just try to remember that the teacher may be as anxious as you are...after all he/she has to teach all of the students who will be at different levels of achievement but you only have to concentrate on him/her to begin with.
You probably know a lot more than you think you do. I always thought the hardest part of teaching was encouraging the student to be confident in their own ability... after all it is hard to 'perform' in public for the first time when others will see what you can do. Enjoy and take a sense of humour with you.

Claudia and Sarah, thank you for your encouraging remarks on taking an art class. I'm so excited about doing it.
Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
Hi Alex, Nealey, Claudia and Geri, Since I'm Blue in a very Red county and State and sad to say my submissions might be detrimental to my health, but I do put them on facebook along with the rest of my work as I do here. Maybe someday when our first amendement rights are protected as much as gun rights I can do so.

Hi all, Back to having fun 2 pastels 8x10 on mat board celestial Rainbow and Somewhere in the universe #3
Fred, very nice use of colors again. First one has a bit of jing and jang, was that on purpose?
Hello Alex! After reading your post about experimenting with leaves and petals, I did a little experiment myself. Personally, I can do more with liquid wc than with the pencils. I can lift out color with the liquid & found I cannot with the pencils. While wet, I can also add deeper tones with the liquid wc. Two different results and I tried to paint the same way on both tomatoes. Fun!
Comments and critiques are welcome.
Nealey, thanks so much! Very interesting.
FRED ~ Keep up with you political views, whatever they may be. This is supposed to be a free country!
JEN ~ Has little kitty been kicked out of the house or is he behaving now?!?!? Looking forward to feline art!
Jen C & C's always welcome
Jen my wife's cousin had a cat that would get mad at her and go crap in the middle of the bed. I don't know if they ever broke the habit.
C and C always welcomed
