Fred I love this landscape. You've captured some nice background light in this one!

I hope everyone's cable problems are getting fixed. I have WOW cable here in Ohio and the biggest problem we've had in my neighborhood has been the internet connection going out.

Sam I hope your back is healing up. I wish there was some way to wave a magic wand and make the pain go away for you.

Geri I hope your feeling better too.This winter has had a lot of weather ups and downs and it's no wonder people are getting sick.

Fred, the complementary colors you used on this one make is very vibrant.  It's a good idea to use an acrylic underpainting for pastel.  It looks nice.

Several people have asked about my back.  The deep massage physical therapy has helped a lot along with the exercises I do every day.  I feeling much better.  I have an MRI scheduled for March 15 and then I'll discuss with the doctor the possibility of getting injections to deal with inflammation.

Fred - Agree some great contrast there; really makes this ptg. come to life. Did you use black for shadows? I think you'd enjoy mixing your own "black" for some interesting results. I am not on Facebook and avoid that, but best wishes on your page.

Fred, it looks like winter with no leaves on the trees.  Shouldn't the bear be hibernating?  I suppose that they are non-conformist bears.
