Sam, what a beautiful baby and beautiful painting. It is fascinating to see how you work - how the painting emerges from the paper in a specific area. Again, just beautiful.

Geri, this is an extremely handsome painting of the flintlock and pouch. It's so well executed, and the contrast in values is beautiful. Wow. And I love that it's matted. Somehow that's the finishing touch.

Geri, your flintlock drawing is excellent.  I agree with Alex that the values are very good.  The pouch looks 3D.   Your photoshop mat shows it off well.  Alex told me it is a Photoshop mat. Wink   Well done drawing.

Geri the chicks are nicely grounded now! Really good job on the gun. I like the use of the white charcoal and the mat engineered or not finishes it off nicely!

Geri this a great drawing! I like the light tan paper you've used as it gives a historical look to the whole image.  I can't even imagine what it would be like to have to load a gun like this and all that goes with that process and mean while the deer has ran off. lol

Geri, a great sketch of the flintlock. The charcoal and backgound colour give it that aged look and you have developed such good shap to the powder horn and bag.

Sam your pastel painting is going to be just perfect when the skin tones are adjusted great start

Geri charcoal must be one of your better mediums, this is great  the powder horn almost becomes the focal point but still doesn't dominate. The flintlock is still the story, very well done
