On Friday I tried to post a question to the beginners' forum, asking art-selling questions (is my stuff good enough to sell, where/how should I try to sell it, etc.). The forums said my message had to be approved by moderators, so I waited. But now another thread has appeared in the beginners' forum, so I was wondering if mine had gotten lost somehow, or if I had made a mistake somewhere. Should I just wait a while, try to post again, or something else?
Who knows where it went and whether or not it posted??? Anyway, it's difficult to give advice without knowing the type of work that you do. Each type of artwork has different types of markets so the advice could be different. How frequently you create artwork is also a question. And how consistent is your work from one painting to the next? What is the size, medium, and usual subject matter?
Oh, I had all that stuff in the post, with little thumbnails of my paintings and links to bigger files on my website. Fortunately I have the post saved. I'll try reposting it tomorrow when I'm on that computer.
Well, I tried resubmitting it. We'll see if it gets posted this time.
