C and C always welcomed
Hi Friends- I did not ask Holly how she is on Facebook but she is still posting new photos that she shares from someone and I would click LIKE to some of hers. This doesn't mean anything b/c sharing someone else photos doesn't take too much effort just some clicks of the mouse.
I am guessing that she is recuperating and trying to get better from her emphysema or whatever her illness is. When she is better I am sure she will be ready to come back and rejoin us. I am also certain that she is busy preparing to host the October Anniversary Challenges. Until then we can go on as best we can and paint and comment as usual.

C&C are welcome and appreciated.
Hi everyone, I don't have any time to chat but I did sent Holly an email on facebook letting her know everyone here is asking about her.

Fred, Yes, you definitely caught the chaos, fear, horror and unreal feel of that whole day. I am afraid I tune out when the aniversary come around for me living through it was enough I really don't want to see all those images and hear all the rehashing over again. I always wonder if the victims feel it all over again, then maybe they live with it every day.
Hi Joyce good to hear from you. Thanks for trying to contact Holly for us . I guess she is not feeling at all well not to contact us. I like you new avaiater photo!
Fred, I love the colors in your abstract and, yes, it definitely has the feel of 9/11. As Jen said chaos and confusion and definitely fear. Excellent abstract work.

Jean- I almost missed your paintings. The Birch trees look very good, I like the soft coloring. the snow scene is beautiful. It has been quite a long time for me to see snow scene like this since we left the Midwest. Anyhow welcome back. Hope you stay here long.
Fred- Your 9/11 scene is a sad reminder of lives lost. It portrayed the sense of fear and panic very well. The life that Curiosity found looks astonishingly inhuman but you never know it may turn out to be real.
