I have been busy for awhile and will still be until after the end of August. I will try to look in once in awhile.
Sammy- I looked at Clayton in your blog and he is so perfect in every way- a winner for sure.
Fred-- I love all your mountain paintings esp. the ones that have the bears in them. The last one is wonderful with colors. The rocks are sparkling like jewels. I agree with Geri that you have improved your technique tremendously.
Maronna- I love your portrait, the girl is so cute-her eyes are sparkling and her whole face lighted up. Very good job.
C&C are welcome and appreciated.

Fred, you certainly have become a mountain man and I love your textured mountains and the fact that the bears are back. You are doing so well with the limited palettes. The last mountains had a very limited palette. Good job.
Nice waterfall and good variety of greens in the foliage. Love those bears.
Sam/Sammy C & C Welcome

Fred I like the way it looks like the fog is rising off the far mountain .

Neat picture Fred. How did you like painting monochrome. In collage one time the assignment was to paint a picture using only instant coffee. I did a Rabbit. It was interesting you might keep it in mind.
Hi Geri, I love to do mono I have done several and I did the tea thing a few yrs. back when I first started to paint only I done a portrait,I still have it in my files somewhere and thanks for your comments. Thank you Jen,I'm looking forward to to seeing your latest work
HI ALL -
I promise I am not a figment of your wildest imagination! I actually do still exist and fortunately I am breathing SO much better now. I'll write more later tonight or in the morning.
I have just spoken with Geri who is hosing the August Challenge. He posted it last night but got the "dreaded" message that it needed to be reviewed before publication (and we all know that could take up to 6 months (or forever, which ever comes last!). I have contacted Courtney to see if she can intercept it and get it posted. Keep watching for it. If it shows up, then GREAT - - if not, then Geri and I will resort to "Plan B".
Love what you guys have been doing. And a big WELCOME to all of our new participants!
C & C always welcomed and encouraged.
WOO-HOO - apparently Courtney was able to find the problem - - AUGUST CHALLENGE IS UP!!
Holly- Good job you did talking to Courtney. They also released two of my writing along with that of Geri. My comment is for Shiela- consolating her on her misfortune with the scammer who took her money. If you want to read it and wonder what mistake I made that they incarcerated my comment for over a month, it's on page 51, right below Marsha's beautiful painting of "Fractured family". Another one is a comment for Frederick's painting of "American Eagle" in the July Challenge.
Fred- I love your painting of Valley of Fire Mountain. You did a good job on the mountain again but without the help of plastic cards. I could hardly tell it's CP you were using. The texture of the mountain is wonderful. Keep it up.
I'm back!!! Took a bit of a hiatis from computers, cell phones, tv, etc............. LOVE VACATIONS!!!! Great trip to the high country - was good to escape this dastardly heat - at least for a time.
Glad to have posts sent to my email. Was able to catch up this morning - Sorry I don't have time to comment on all....... All -ya'll have been doing FANTASTIC work.
FYI: Nother scam: While reading my long list of missed emails, I came across another art purchase scam. Was much wiser this time and just pushed "delete". Don't need another $$ loss.
Hope this heat lets up and we get a bit of rain soon - fields and pastures are getting really crispy. Right now at 10:00 already 90+ degrees - looking for another 100+ day.
