Earlier this week I posted an announcement of an Artist Daily Holiday Card Contest in the "challenge CHATTER - 2011" thread.  The post contained some links to Courtney Jordan's (our editor) announcement and to the page for posting our entries.  As a result of the links being included, the post is being delayed pending "moderator approval" - SO - it will show up eventually, but  - - - HERE'S HOW TO GET TO THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CONTEST!

Scroll up to the top of the page and mouse over "Blogs" then click on Artist Daily in the drop down menu.  Today, the announcement is about the 4th entry down - it's called "MOVE OVER HALLMARK" .  Just follow her link to the contest posting page.  There are already some great entries posted!

There is no entry fee, and you can submit as many entries as you wish.  The winner will be by popular vote.  The top chosen entry will be used by Artist Daily, American Artist magazine, and Interweave (the parent company) as their official eCard to all of their professional contacts and friends in the arts community.  WHAT A FUN OPPORTUNITY!!!  The deadline for entries is December 10, 2011 - so there is still plenty of time to hop in and participate.

Since we have been in HOLIDAY CARD mode for a couple of months, we should be able to show everyone what we are doing! And, show Artist Daily how much we appreciate them!

Holly- I did send in one of mine and it's not even a Christmas theme. I read Courtney's blog and she says any kind of pictures or something to that extent. I just want to show them that I participated. Thank you for your posting.

Thanks Sandi - I think I'm going to put in my holly painting from last year and call it "Holly Jolly HollyDaze!".
