12"x24" acrylic on board. Not really liking this one, so I might leave it as is.

Enough staring in the mirror for tonight. I like where this one is going, I'll post the finished version later.

wow I have to hand it to you....you have been working hard.   I have been following your paintings (I receive notifications through my email), and I am impressed.  I'm impressed by the effort you are putting forward, painting any object at hand.  You are very disciplined.   I guess I am commenting on this because that is something I lack, the discipline.   I sometimes think I can be quite lazy about my art.

You add alot of interest to the objects you choose to paint..  I like how you give them a twist, so they are not common or usual, or just that object you are looking at..   I like what you did to the watch here....looks like it is under water.   You do have talent.  Great job.  I am happy for you.

Thank you so much! Your words truly mean a lot to me. I've always struggled with self confidence and I'm slowly gaining confidence the more I work. It feels great. Thanks again!

First session of 12x16" oil on board, I plan to take this one further..

Didn't really strive for likeness in this one but instead focusing on decisive brushstrokes and using thicker paint. Fun!

Tried something different. This is a study of a Cornelius Volker work, one of my favorite artists.

This one is a quick study for a larger painting I'm gonna do of the same head. Acrylic on board.

Critique/comments are always welcome! Hope everyone is having a good November!

This one is roughly 50x30...Pretty weird shape! This one is acrylic as well. If you're not sure what your looking at, they're Vise Grips brand pliers.
