So the annual Carmel plein air festival will happen soon. I was thinking that one year I'd like to try doing this event. I think it would be fun and a great way to be surrounded by talented artists in a beautiful environment. I also recently found out that the event is juried. I'm hoping that with another season of painting this year, I'll be ready to try new venues or even a less competitive event. Has anyone here painted at this event? I wonder if the jury looks at work only or considers other events the artist has attended. Anyone with experience with plein air events?
