C & C's always welcome
Thank you Sammy, Sandi and Jen.
I redid the whole thing. The Urn is between two doorways, one is sunny and the other one isn't, I thought of it as sitting in a type of courtyard. with strange lighting from different directions. I took your advice and changed up some things.

C & C Always Welcome
Marsha, I hope that you mean you made changes and not that you painted the entire thing over again. I like your style of painting vignettes. The flowers stand out more now that you have added lighter, brighter colors. The big black spot at the lower right of the flowers jumps out at me. Maybe a few lighter floral colors to break up that area would help.
The urn looks really good now. The direction of light isn't so confusing. You changed the brick work behind the urn and it looks good. The variety of colors and values makes it interesting. I still really like the rug and the sunlight wall on the right. I think you have yourself a nice little, interesting painting.

Wow! Marsha!- How fast you redid your urn. It is now standing out proudly and handsomely. Nice colors on the flowers. Good job.
