I love the colours you used here, eubie! It totally sets the mood of the piece.
If I could make any comment, I would say that the composition could be tweaked a bit, so that the tree off to the left is not sitting right on the edge... but then again, I kind of like the way it frames the piece. Perhaps if the foliage shapes on the tree did not sit so closely on the sloped horizon line, maybe if the lower foliage shape closest to the left edge would overlap the distant shore to break up that line?
Just something to chew over. It's a lovely painting!

Just recently, I redid this picture keeping in mind what you said. also put a tiny sail boat in the far distance. I need to take a picture of it, but I liked it better. Thanks
