This was my version of a painting by Vladimir Volegov.

I love his work and this is my version of one of his pieces. I am just starting as an artist so please forgive me for learning by coping someone else. This is my 5th painting.

Copying the works of others is a great way to learn.  Certainly no apologies are necessary.  I have been very impressed following an artist's studies of Van Gough (on another forum)  - - I keep telling myself I am going to work with some Monets but  - - - so many things to try and so little time - - life does get in the way sometimes!

Great job!  I had never heard of Volegov and looked him up. Amazing stuff - thanks.
