I visited Paris last year.  It rained every day that I was there.  This was my take on square where the Paris Opera House was located and what a beautiful building it is.  I how you can enjoy the view as I did in spite of the rain and dark clouds.  All comments will be greatly appreciated.  The painting is oil on linen 24 x 30.

Interesting scene, Phil. Love the way you do clothes of the figures.  The cars and people are well done.

Sandi C.

p.s.  I remember you from Artistsnetwork-Oil Forum. I have  just joined Artist Daily in the new Forum called All Media Photo Challenge. You can look into it if you have time. A good portion of our group came from AN also.

Good compisition Phil.

Love the unbrella & foreground people..

I'm a little stumped, to the right of the umbrella, is that a car or? Also I don't get a feeling of depth in the painting. In my opinion the building & people in the background should be grayer & lighter...
