The National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS) recently held its 18th annual national exhibition at the Ella Carouthers Dunnegan Gallery of Art, in Bolivar, Missouri. The award winners, chosen by judge Tom Tierney, were announced at the opening-day reception and included Jian Wu, who won the Best of Show for his painting Guitar Player; Elizabeth Pruitt, who won the Platinum Palette Award for her painting Chinese Wine Jar With Blossoms; Sook Yi Lee, who won Best Portrait for Veronica; and Susan Lindsey, who won Best Still Life for Russian Market Pot. Following its time at the Ella Carouthers Dunnegan Gallery, the exhibition traveled to the Katy Depot Historic Site, in Sedalia, Missouri, ARTichokes Gallery, in Leawood, Kansas, and the Thompson Hall Harper Chapel Methodist Church, in Osage Beach, Missouri.
