Exhibition: Studying Nature: Oil Sketches From the Thaw Collection

This exhibition showcases more than 20 intimately scaled sketches made in oil and executed in nature from the collection of Eugene V. and Clare Thaw. The show includes oil sketches from late-18th-century pioneers Pierre-Henri Valenciennes, Simon Denis, and Francois-Marius Granet and from 19th-century practitioners Jean-Baptiste-Camile Corot and John Constable.
