The Allied Artists of America recently held its 94th annual juried exhibition at the National Arts Club Galleries, in New York City. Nearly $20,000 in cash prizes and medals were presented at the awards reception, and among the top award winners were Gary T. Erbe, who won the Gold Medal of Honor, Oil, for his painting Arrangement in Brown and White; Rhoda Yanow, who won the Gold Medal of Honor, Watercolor/Pastel/Graphics, for her pastel painting Street Scene; and Dan Ostermiller, who won the Gold Medal of Honor, Sculpture, for Chester in Repose.
