Greenwich Workshop Announces Winners of First Annual SmallWorks North America Exhibition and Competition

0801smallnews1_600x487More than 800 artists submitted work to be included in the Greenwich Workshop's first annual SmallWorks North America Exhibition and Competition, and of the 230 artists chosen to exhibit, five were awarded shares of $20,000 in prize money.

More than 800 artists submitted work to be included in the Greenwich Workshop's first annual SmallWorks North America Exhibition and Competition, and of the 230 artists chosen to exhibit, five were awarded shares of $20,000 in prize money. Those artists were Ezra Tucker, who won the Gold Medal for At Lands End; Joseph Lorusso, who won the Silver Medal for Opera Glasses II; HuiHan Liu, who won the Bronze Medal for The Land of Snows; Ann McMillan, who won the Director's Award for Strawberries; and Pamela Carroll, who won the Publisher's Award for Off Spring. In addition to the five artists who took home prize money, 35 additional artists will be given the opportunity to have their works published as limited-edition prints.
