Awards Presented at the 32nd Annual Western Federation of Watercolor Societies Exhibition

One-hundred-and-forty-eight artists from nine watercolor organizations west of the Mississippi River gathered for this exhibition at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, in Arvada, Colorado. The 32nd annual edition of this show featured a variety of watercolor techniques and subject matter. Some of the artists who received awards were Stan Goudey, who won Best of Show for his painting Railroad Man and Diana Carmody, who won the David Gale Memorial Award for Eggs-optic. Dave Maxwell, Ananta Mandal, and Cara Koolmees each won Awards of Excellence for Another Vette, The First Morning, and Lifeguards, respectively.
