Seventy-two major works will be featured in this exhibition, which celebrates the vision and passion of private collectors who were formerly affiliated with the Smithsonian American Art Museum, in Washington, DC. Work from 26 private collections will be on display, including paintings, watercolors, pastels, decorative arts, and sculptures from such artists as John Singer Sargent, Edward Hopper, and Georgia O'Keeffe.
