The Chestnut Hill Historical Society is hosting a new exhibition of watercolors and paintings by Paul Rickert through May 16. Rickert has painted the town of Chestnut Hill from numerous vantage points over the last three decades, and the paintings in this exhibition focus on the rich architecture of a town that has frequently been the focus of this artist’s work. Some of the paintings featured in this exhibition include views of the Half-Moon houses, the Woodmere Art Gallery, and the newsstand at the Chestnut Hill West train station.
