Eric Zener’s recent paintings will be exhibited at Gallery Henoch, in New York City, from April 12 through May 5. In his newest work, the artist continues to use the natural world as a metaphor for dramatic moments of personal decision and change. His waterscapes provide rich backdrops for his human figures, whose contemplative moods are reflected by the glimmering surface of the water. Pursuing moments of insight and revelation, Zener’s divers must move through the water toward greater understanding and awareness.
