This exhibition of work by pastel artist Susan Bennerstrom will be on display at Terrence Rogers Fine Art through March 3. This is the first show in southern California for the artist, and features a departure from her earlier work. After working exclusively in chalk pastel for more than 20 years, Bennerstrom began experimenting with oil pastel on gessoed panels, and while so doing so, discovered a technique that creates paintings that don’t need to be shown under glass. Paintings created using this technique will be on display.
