Timothy Barr explored his oil landscapes by combining multiple digital
images, using Photoshop to design the perfect scene. Here, we present an excerpt from the article that further explains his process.

| Step 1: Barr was unhappy with the color of the water in a painting he had recently finished. |
Step 2: Barr laid a photograph of the actual water over a scan of the painting and was able to identify the problem. |
Step 3: The final painting, adjusted with purples and straw tones.
