Q: I am learning to use water-soluble oil, and I want to use
a quick-drying medium. I have tried Winsor & Newton's, but it's
globby and hard to get out of the bottle. Is there a better solution?
A: Max Grumbacher produces two non-toxic, water-miscible
mediums: QuickDry and linseed oil. They are both easy to clean up and
may be better choices.
