FloMaster Inks

24 Feb 2009

Q: FloMaster Inks have been off the market for some time. Are there any inks available that use the same formula?

A: FloMaster inks were taken off the market because they were found to be toxic. If permanency is your goal, you may want to try Sennelier China Ink. This is an intense, indelible black ink with a slow-drying varnish that is superior to India ink. It can be diluted with water or used undiluted. Sennelier also carries shellac-based colored inks that offer a satin finish when dry. Both are great for calligraphers and watercolorists.
