Q: I paint in acrylic on canvas, and I was wondering if there
is any way to make corrections after a picture has been sealed with
gloss varnish.
A: If you use a water-based varnish, then acrylic paint can
be reapplied. But if you use an oil-based varnish the acrylic will not
adhere to the canvas.
