Never mind that "the frenzies" is not technically a real medical condition. What I mean is that during the holidays, I feel like we can all get a bit
frenzied. There are parties to attend and host, events to go to, cards to send,
gifts to wrap, and friends and family to visit. Right now I have three "to do"
lists going just to get me through the next few weeks!

There is nothing that warms my heart than seeing the little ones in my life painting or drawing. It makes me think, maybe I am seeing the next generation's great artists in action. And I had a little something to do with it? Wow! (Christmas Morning by Carl Larsson, 1894.)

But my holiday shopping list just got a whole lot easier
because I am giving the gift of art to so many of my friends and family with
resources from the
Artist Daily Shop. I've always believed that art is for
everyone and so why not tie it into my holidays as well? Especially because I've
found everyone loves to look at paintings and drawings--and make art if they give themselves half a chance--and if you have artists
in your life you are giving them what they really want--an excuse to get back in
the studio!
So I'm going with beginner painting kits for my young
nieces, sketching materials and charcoals for my teenage nephew (he'll love the
messiness...and his mom is going to kill me!), art instructional books for an
artist friend who needs ideas about the art course she'll be teaching next
semester, and a digital eBook for a friend of mine who just took up watercolor-she
lives in Ireland so I don't have to worry about getting a package to her in
time for the holiday.
Giving the gift of art is ideal because it appeals to my loved
ones of all ages, brings us all together, and there is just so much out there to choose from.
Fortunately, I'm one-stop shopping at the Artist Daily Shop because the deals
are pretty amazing right now with books, eBooks, magazines and more at 30-70% off!
Check to see what the Artist Daily Shop has for you and
yours this holiday season! Enjoy!
