Painting is a deep and vast ocean. It is a world full of possibilities. And while I am deeply drawn to that wide-open aspect of it, I'm also super intimidated by it too! I feel like there is no limit to what I can learn, and while I'm thirsty for it, it sometimes it feels like drinking from a fire hose!

Then there is figuring out how to build up my surface without the painting looking sloppy and just "textured" for texture's sake. And that means having a better understanding of brushwork and mark making, and discovering what one painting brush can do for a painter over another.

There's absolutely no end of reasons why I need to learn more fine art painting tips on making corrections. I don't know how many times I've been in a situation and I said to myself, "Did I just do that? Why did I just do that?"
