Free eBook on Painting & Drawing Fantasy Art

It says a lot that summer is here and I am tempted to abandon sunshine and blue skies to sneak inside and spend time in the studio sketching and drawing. And I “blame” it completely on our new free eBook, How to Draw and Paint Mythical Creatures: Unicorns, Fairies, Dragons & More.

From Dreamscapes: Myth & Magic by Stephanie Pui-Mon Law.
From Dreamscapes: Myth & Magic by Stephanie Pui-Mon Law.

That’s because this is the first eBook we’ve put together devoted to fantasy art and sci fi art (art and literary subjects that I have loved for years), and there is just so much to learn from it about the genre. I’m honing in on how to use my imagination as my biggest “tool” in deciding what to draw and sketch. I’m also really starting to wrap my head around how to push narratives and compositions into territory that is solely my own.

But I’ve also realized fantasy art is just a lot of fun. Learning how to draw a dragons and drawing fairies in different ways–there are no limits and no boundaries. It is all about exploration and reveling in color, ornamentation and pattern, as well as feeling and emotion.

So if you are looking for a way to let loose and have fun in your art, download How to Draw and Paint Mythical Creatures: Unicorns, Fairies, Dragons & More.

In it, you’ll find such fun, out-of-this-world approaches to painting, drawing, and design that aren’t so serious and literal. Right now, I could use that and I bet you could too! I hope you’ll download your copy of How to Draw and Paint Mythical Creatures: Unicorns, Fairies, Dragons & More and as always–enjoy!
