There are too many places in the painting for the eye to land.  The &amp;quot;star&amp;quot; of the painting should be the larger flower not all the other stuff.  Most paintings I see like this have been done this way so the artist can say &amp;quot;see how many things I can do well&amp;quot; instead of setteling for just one center of interest.  I like the painting but it surely does need the  negative space toned down.  IMHO.
