About Bill

I've been drawing and painting since I was in 4th grade. I now paint only in oil and mainly do landscapes. I am in a gallery in my local area and am looking to branch out. My favorite artists are Inness, Levitan, Edward Seago, Shishkin, Schmid, Fechin, Sorrolla, and Sargent. If you'd like to see more of my work, go to www.wworcesterart.com or www.proudfoxgallery.com

Fox River July 13th

This is a 16 x 20 plein air painting of the Fox River painted on Wednesday July 13, 2011. A demo of how I painted this is on my blog: williamworcester.blogspot.com.

Forest Light

It's too hot out for me, so I decided to do a studio painting this time. It's a 16 x 20 oil on canvas.

June Farm

This is a farm about 5 miles from my home. The barn is abandoned. "June Farm" oil on panel 17 x 24. Digging the palette knifeand the textural effects it gives.

Fox River, May 27th

A plein air oil on linen painting I did las Friday of a swollen Fox River near Mooseheart in Illinois. There were mallards everwhere that day so it was quite a feast of aeronautics and a symphony of honks and quacks. Hope you enjoy it.

Wood Line

This is a 30 x 30 plein air painting of an edge of the woods in Batavia, Illinois.

Fox River_May Plein Air

Spent Monday afternoon painting this on the shore of the Fox River in geneva, Illinois. Besides having to grab the easel several times, I had to pick bugs out of the paint severall times. This one is all palette knife. 20 x 16 Oil on Canvas.
